Hey, I'm Diane!
Here's a little introduction to the person behind Mysa Wellness Room, and what makes me tick.
Im lucky that my work rarely feels like work, and it supports my sense of balance in so many ways. But as much as I could happily do it seven days a week, I know that protecting that balance requires making space for life beyond the treatment room, too.
My time off is about drawing from the things that help me feel grounded, refreshed, organised and content. It isn't a checklist to complete in a day, but a collection of little rituals and interests I dip in and out of, depending on what I need.
Family and my canine companions always have a special place in that time. I love making them my focus, showing them how much I appreciate them, and making sure the furry little people get their fair share of cuddles.
When I have time to myself, you'll often find me batch cooking fresh, nutritious food, making my living space feel fresh and harmonious, cycling, painting, or getting lost in a good book. I love catching up with friends, too, and thank goodness for voice notes! And if there's a sunrise or sunset to chase, or a little detail in nature worth zooming in on, I'm always happily distracted.
These are the things that help me slow down, reset, feel appreciative and reconnect with myself. In their own little ways, they also reflect the ethos behind Mysa, finding joy in the everyday, looking after ourselves and making room for the things that make life feel good.
